September 24th, MBC ‘The Day of Good Mood (기분좋은 날)’ will take fans to sit on the aircraft together with the artists of SM Entertainment and show behind the scenes of the trip to LA for SM TOWN.

Leeteuk and Yoona are the MC of the live update in the aircraft to make it more fun, while Eunhyuk, Heechul and Kyuhyun slept immediately after sitting on the plane. Besides, Kangta and Kim Minjong acting as special stewards for take care others too.

Sunny was playing game, Seohyun was organizing her schedule while Sooyoung was watching movie. Tiffany was reading a book. We can see that everyone has many different activities on the plane.

The star of Asia BoA has shown her charm on the stage at LA Staples Center with so many warm loves from her sister and brother in SM family. Boa said ” In the future, I wish I can have self-discipline”. On that day all others have a party to celebrate 10th anniversary or Boa and also 15th debut for Kangta.

For Tiffany, she looks very happy because she haste her family which is living in LA before Chuseok. Sungmin said “I wanna change a wallet for my mom” He said and prepare the special gift. Yunho said before appearing on stage that he wants to meet his younger sister.

[NEWS] 100517 "Avatar" producers to film BoA, TVXQ concerts in 3D

Director James Cameron and his team of producers behind Hollywood blockbuster pic "Avatar" have agreed to produce the music videos and concert videos for BoA, TVXQ and other artists under agency SM Entertainment (SM) in 3D format.

Cameron -- currently in town for the annual Seoul Digital Forum -- met with Korean conglomerate Samsung Electronics' executives and SM founder Lee Soo-man at the "3D Content-Related Cooperation Plan" event, held today at Samsung offices in Seocho District, where they announced news of the collaboration.

According to the plan, "Avatar" producers will be filming SM artists' music videos and concerts in 3D and electronics giant Samsung will use the 3D content in the company's worldwide marketing plan for its 3D television products.

The filming for the 3D concert is expected to begin "around June" in Korea, presumably at live music concerts featuring BoA, TVXQ and Girls' Generation.

Producer and entertainment mogul Lee Soo-man expressed his anticipation, saying "I am proud to be able to work with a global company like Samsung Electronics and the best team of producers in the world. I think we will come up with the best 3D content."

Female pop singer BoA, who also attended the event with TVXQ members Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho, commented, "I am glad and excited to take part in such a fantastic event. I will try my best to become an artist who approaches fans with great content."

The TVXQ singers said they will "work hardest to create a new kind of cultural content."

SM Entertainment, considered one of the top talent agencies in Korea, just yesterday disclosed information on its earnings for the first quarter of the year, indicating its most successful first quarter to date.

The firm recorded operating profits of 10.4 billion won, or over nine million dollars, during the three month period, which is an increase by an astounding 471 percent from the same period last year.

BoA has been one of the most successful K-pop artists since first making her debut ten years ago and is one of the first Korean artists to make a major breakthrough into the Japanese music industry. She also made her U.S. debut in March 2009.

Five member boy-band TVXQ is also one of Asia's top artists with reportedly the largest fanbase in the world but they have ceased working as an entirety since July last year after three of its members, namely Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu, became embroiled in a legal battle with SM.

[NEWS] 091104 Korean Singers Up Prominent on Oricon Charts for 1st Week of November

1st week of November the week for the Korean singers on Oricon Chart?

Korean singers are the prominent figures up on Oricon Chart for the 1st week of November. We see singers like BoA, Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang, and also Korean actor-singer Ryu ShiWon up on the top 10 positions on the chart.

And on the 3rd, Big Bang’s 3rd Japanese single ‘Let Me Hear Your Voice’ is up #3 on the daily chart. And on the same day, Ryu ShiWon’s ‘Kaleidoscope’ is also up #4 on the daily chart.

Not only that, we have BoA and Dong Bang Shin Ki who are doing strong up on the chart as well.

BoA’s 28th Japanese single ‘Bump Bump!’ is ranked #8 on the weekly chart as of 3rd November. And Dong Bang Shin Ki’s live concert DVD is up #1 on the Oricon DVD conbined chart, and their ‘History in Japan Volume 4′ is also up #3 on the chart.

A music industry expert said, “BoA and Dong Bang Shin Ki have already gained much of a name in the Japanese music market. And Ryu ShiWon has also done so through his dramas and was hailed as one of the top Hallyu stars in Japan. So the response to his album will be good as soon as he releases a new album. And for Big Bang’s case, even though they are newcomers here, their unique music and significant fanbase present will promote the album sales.”

[NEWS] 091021 Tohoshinki, Aira, BoA And Other Artists To Participate In Children’s Charity

UNICEF in Japan, has started a new project “Happy Birthday Download for Children”, to help protect the world’s babies. Artists that are supporting this project will begin the songs delivery from the 2nd of November.

In this project, artists who agree with this purpose will sing “Happy Birthday to You”, and one version of the song will be posted each day on the website. The money left after calculating tax and handling fees will be all donated to UNICEF.

Participating artists include Aira Mitsuki、AFRA、Ando Yuko、GIRL NEXT DOOR、Kajihideki、Koda Kumi、Goto Maki、Sekaiichi、Tanimura Nana、THE BAWDIES、Harada Tomoyo、BoA、Hotei Tomoyasu、Mochida Kaori、Leyona、YMCK and up to another 110 artists (as of 20th Oct).
