Can Tohoshinki Write A New History in ORICON Once Again?

Group Tohoshinki has been succeed in acquiring 1st after 1s spot in Japan’s most influential music chart, ORICON. They’re even recognized as the foreign artist with most ORICON Weekly 1st.

According to ORICON Style on October 5th, the single of two Tohoshinki members Jejung & Yuchun, “COLORS ~ Melody & Harmony ~ / SHELTER” which was released on September 30th, ever since its release date to 5 days after on October 4th has been continuously topping the ORICON Daily Single Chart. It seems that the green light of acquiring ORICON Weekly Chart is already turned on.

If Tohoshinki manages to acquire another 1st in ORICON Weekly Chart, then they will set a new record of topping the chart for 7th times. The last time they topped ORICON Weekly Chart was last April with Tohoshinki’s 27th single in Japan “Share The World/We Are!”, and if once again they’re gaining 1st then it will renew their position as the foreign artist with most ORICON Weekly 1st.
