[TRANS] 100512 Xiah Junsu Nominated for "Best Newcomer" in the 4th “THE MUSICAL AWARDS”

DBSK’s member, Xiah Junsu (actual name: Kim Junsu) has been nominated in the “Best Newcomer” category in the 4th “The Musical Awards”.

Xiah Junsu made his debut on the musical scene through the musical “Mozart!”. Even though his decision to debut as a musical actor was questioned in the initial stages, he eventually won over the critics as the musical progressed, and even broke the sales record for the ticket sales!

Also, in this nomination for “Best Newcomer”, other than Ok Ju-hyeon, who has already become a musical actress, there are no other idol artistes; thus, the possibility of Xiah Junsu winning this category is higher.

The 4th “The Musical Awards” will be held on the 7th June, 7PM at the Sejong Cultural Centre Theater. Nominations were chosen from amongst musicals held in Seoul and the Province of Gyeonggi from 1 April 2009 to 30 April 2010. All of these musicals are either medium or large-scale, and have seated at least a 400-strong audience.
