M Countdown's 200th Episode: 2AM - CNBLUE - MBLAQ's 'Special Stage'

Mnet's M Countdown which is meeting their 200th episode will be doing an activity with both singers and groups for the viewers.

The first idols, 2AM, will have each member take turns in singing a small part of Korean ballad songs in a unique way that will have fans soaked with emotion.

Also, Asia's representative idol group CNBLUE who's been growing crazily will be doing a parade of M Countdown's past 1st place songs. The flower boy band will be doing Rain's 'It's Raining', 2NE1's 'I Don't Care', G-Dragon's 'Heartbreaker' and Taeyang's 'Look At Only Me' and we're anticipating the kind of feel they'll be giving off.

With them, chic-dol MBLAQ will be performing some hit songs of Big Bang, DBSK, and Super Junior. They are earning interest because they will be doing popular songs like 'Lies', 'Mirotic', and 'Sorry Sorry', which swept across Asia.

Miss A, who has been taking the top spots on such music charts like Mnet.com, will be performing sexy female group songs from Jewelry, T-ara, and Brown Eyed Girls. They are planning a powerful performance.

4minute's Hyuna, who has been regarded as one of the best dancing machines among girl groups, will perform 'Change' with BEAST's Yong JunHyung, and Taeyang, G.NA, and JooSeok will also appear.

Even more, the "MCD Guiness" section includes all kinds of records, like the best audience rating, as well as #1 ranking, and the most appearance ranking is to be introduced, along with star's early debut looks, and the cast's NG collection are also to be part of M Countdown's 200th episode anniversary.

Relevant to this, CP [Chief Producer] Kim Ki Woong revealed, "Currently, M Countdown is broadcasted live in parts of Japan, and through this, it is exported in Thailand, China, Taiwan, and with other active exports, and making the live-watching a unified Asian culture. From now on, to amend the position as a worldly music show, we will do the best of our abilities to extend further into the U.S and other global parts. With the appearance from Lady Gaga, Kat-tun, and other top foreign artists, we are preparing variety of richness to the nation's music industry, also part of expanding us."

Bringing the fastest music trends, the global music show Mnet "M Countdown" is aired live on the coming 15th at 6PM, in Seoul, Sam-Am dong E&M Center.

[INFO] 100120 Universal Records releases TVXQ "MIROTIC" VERSION C on January 29, 2010

"Mirotic" is TVXQ's fourth South Korean studio album, originally released on September 26, 2008. The album had been in production since 2007, but the title was not decided upon until January 2008. "Mirotic" is a newly coined term, created by Hero Jaejoong, that combines the Korean Miro (미로), meaning "maze", and the English suffix "-tic". TVXQ members Xiah, Junsu and Max Changmin participated directly in the making of the album, penning the lyrics for "Picture Of You" and "Love In The Ice", respectively. In addition, members Hero Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun composed and wrote the lyrics to "Don't Cry My Lover" and "Love Bye Love", respectively, for Version C of the album. Three days after its release,"Mirotic" became the best selling album of the year. On November 15, 2008, the album won the album of the year award at the 2008 MKMF Korean Music Festival awards.

The choreography of "Mirotic" the title track of the album, was done in a collaboration between Korean choreographers and Kenny Wormald, who had also worked with pop stars Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown and Christina Aguilera. The song features a "reverse beat" track, meaning that the bass beat is either a half beat or a whole beat late in coming into a new phrase. While in most genres of music, the bass note comes in directly on the first beat of the measure in setting the chord of the phrase, reverse beat songs alter this usual method. In doing so, the reverse beat genre is said to have an effect of "growing on" the listener, having an addictive sound. The title song was composed by the Danish producers, Remee, Lucas Secon and Thomas Troelsen (the producing team behind BoA's American debut song "Eat You Up").

This "Mirotic" edition comes with four new tracks including "Wish" (Track 6) which is sung by Xiah, Max and Super Junior's Ryeo Wook and Kyu Hyun, "Don't Cry My Lover", "Love Bye Love" and "Don't Say Goodbye".

[NEWS] DBSK's MIROTIC at MYX International Charts (Philippines)

I would like to share how grateful I am that DBSK's Mirotic is now charting at the International Charts in our country. MYX is the leading music station here in the Philippines and with the International Chart section, DBSK's Mirotic is at no.16 which is a good start for a new entry this week. Mirotic has been played in various segment of MYX such as POP MYX(which features popular videos) && MY MYX (which features request from viewers). This chart also contains Super Junior's It's You, SNDS's Genie, Shinee's Ring Ding Dong, 2ne1's I don't Care && SS501's Lalala. I just hope that they will continue this and enter the top10 sooner of later. Fighting DBSK!
