[NEWS] 101014 JYJ Sells a Record-Breaking 520,000 Pre-Orders of The Beginning

JYJ’s first album, The Beginning, has surpassed pre-orders of 520,000 cds.

JYJ’s distributor, Warner Music Korea, says that the production of more than “99,999 limited edition copies, 300,000 special edition copies and 220,000 regular edition copies” and supplying retailers were what caused the delay in the release.

JYJ was able to feel the explosion of interest from fans when they were preparing for the special pre-orders which has since sold out. They are still getting interest in the special pre-orders.

The general album debuted today and the special editions will be released on October 18th.

Warner Music went on to say that, “JYJ who has 520,000 copies just in pre-orders, will give the boost that the sluggish music market needs.”

These boys just keep getting more and more amazing. They’ve sold out their Seoul showcase in 15 minutes, and it looks like they could possibly sell a million copies!

[TRANS] 100510 Junsu's Solo Single - Pre-Order Copies of 160,000 and Sale of 3 Billion Won

According to South Korean media reports, TVXQ’s Kim Junsu will release his solo single in Japan on the 26th of this month, having 160,000 pre-ordered copies, with a pre-order sale of 3 billion won.

Avex, the Japanese management company in-charge of Kim Junsu’s Japanese activities, said that his solo single will have two versions, CD only and CD + DVD.

In the recent pre-order sale of the CD version and the CD + DVD version, 75,000 copies and 85,000 copies have been pre-ordered respectively, with a total pf 160,000 pre-ordered copies, and the total amount of money added up to around 3 billion won.

This is Kim Junsu’s first solo single release after TVXQ’s suspension of activities, the song track including the song “Kanashimi No Yukue,” which is the theme song of Park Yoochun’s Japanese drama debut “Love Letter After 5 Years,” therefore receiving attention from TVXQ’s fans.

Kim Junsu and the other 2 members of TVXQ have signed a contract with Avex Japan, and will start having fan meetings and activities from early June in Osaka, Tokyo and other cities.
