The Korean company currently responsible for managing JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN's activities in Japan is C-jeS CO.LTD. It was reported that the legal representative of this company has been taking advantage of his father's previous status as a gang leader to threaten and coerce the artists under its label. He has already been has been found guilty of, and sentenced to prison on charges of coercion. With regards to the allegations mentioned above, Avex has conducted thorough investigation, and whilst there is no legitimate evidence to prove for certain that the said legal representative has links with the mafia, reports on threats and coercion were found to be true.

At the same time, there is a possibility that JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN's contract with Avex may be voided as a result of developments in their Korean exclusive contract lawsuit.

Avex holds heavy regard for both the legal and ethical implications of its management guidelines, thus until a clear resolution has been found, we will discontinue our management of the trio's activities.

To fans who have continued to support JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHN, we would like to express our apologies for the concern and apprehension this news must have brought you, but we hope that you will understand the decisions we have made.

There will be no changes in our plans for scheduled releases and ongoing activities. Similarly, no changes will be made to the contract we have negotiated with SM Entertainment for Tohoshinki's activities as a 5 member unit. Avex will continue to work towards the comeback of Tohoshinki, just as we have done in the past.

[TRANS] 100907 East Asia Entertainment Limited News Release

Top Asian idols Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun & Kim Jaejoong have officially announced that they will be joining East Asia Entertainment Limited to expand their performing careers in China. East Asia Ent expressed that they are honoured to be working with such phenomenal Korean stars. The trio will be promoting in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and besides collaborations in album distribution, East Asian Ent also has plans in other endeavors such as concerts, commercials, movies and television dramas etc.

East Asia Entertainment is a media and cultural entertainment agency, and big names under their label include Andy Lau, Leon Lai, Daniel Wu, Sammi Cheng, Miriam Yeung, Denise Ho, Han Hong, Richie Ren etc. The company manages over 50 singers, actors and actresses, and is one of the biggest and most established concert organizers in Asia, responsible for producing over 1000 concerts and shows over the years. Productions of their sister company, Media Asia Group, include the 'Infernal Affairs' Trilogy, 'The Warlords', 'Initial D' etc. Having produced several hundreds of successful films, they are one of Asia's largest film companies.

The collaboration between such a prestigious company and such popular super stars will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with. According to the two parties, the trio's first appearance as East Asia Ent artists will be at the East Asia Feiyang Concert on October 23rd in Hongkou Stadium, Shanghai. Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun and Kim Jaejoong have confirmed that they will be performing, and East Asia Ent are honoured to be working with the three. They will be meeting their fans as a three-member unit at the event.

[TRANS] 100712 Tohoshinki's newly released special albums secure positions on the Oricon

Despite being on indefinite hiatus, the special album released by popular Korean group TVXQ garnered a great deal of attention.

Recent figures disclosed by the Oricon - the most widely recognized sales chart in Japan - revealed that the 'Complete A-side Collection' album released on June 30th sold 83,798 copies in just one week, and was ranked third on the weekly chart. Over the same time frame, 'Complete B-side Collection' sold 83,000 copies and was placed fourth.

The two albums released by TVXQ have sold nearly 170,000 copies in just one week, thus exhibiting their astounding popularity in Japan. It is also worth noting that the international version of TVXQ's debut track 'Hug' is included in the 'Complete A-side Collection'.

[TRANS] 100708 JAPANATION To Release Hit Songs CD Comp

As part of the 10th year anniversary of their establishment in the club group, label avex・rhythm zone have teamed up with DJ- KAYA. With the J-DANCE（J-POP×DANCE） genre as their core, the project [JAPANATION] was formed to pursue new possibilities in Japanese music. On 7 July, the day that the project was launched, a compilation CD was also released.



Included in the CD are tracks from the dawn of Japan’s dance music by the likes of [TRF] and [globe], to new hit songs from popular artists like [EXILE], {Ayumi Hamasaki] [KODA KUMI], [Tohoshinki] and [m-flo].

[TRANS] Yunho's HTTG DVD release Premium Event in Japan

Popular Korean group TVXQ's leader Yunho, is going to Japan for PREMIUM EVENT in conjunction with the release of DVD 'Heading to the Ground', the drama series which he starred as main lead.

To commemorate the release of Heading To The Ground DVD, Yunho is going to attend 'Yunho in Heading To The Ground PREMIUM EVENT 2010' in Tokyo International Forum Hall 26th this month.

In this event, Yunho is going to release “My Best Scenes Top 3” which are selected by him. At the same time, there will be a talk show, quiz, present corner and the other programs, to convey the charm of this drama to everyone. Besides that, Ara is going to attend this event as a special guest.

Tokyo and Shibuya’s TSUTAYA, in conjunction with the release of DVD, are going to exhibit soccer uniform which was worn by Yunho in the series movie. Apart from that, souvenirs which are specially produced will be sold on that day.

'Heading To The Ground' which describes dreams and love of a soccer Player Cha Bong Goon, is Yunho’s first challenge in acting, and has become a hot topic in Japan. It was broadcast by KNTV through Korean Special channel in January this year.

[TRANS] 100612 Posters of Jung Yunho’s Musical “Goong” Released; Musical To Start On September 8

According to Korean media reports on June 11, posters of the Korean musical “Goong” have been released. TVXQ member Yunho will be starring in the musical which performance will commence on 8 September.

Carrying the same name of the television drama in which Yoon Eun Hye starred in, the musical version of “Goong” is based on a popular manga, which illustrates the love story between a prince and an ordinary girl under the setting of the “constitutional monarchy in Korea”.

In the musical version of “Goong” other than Jung Yunho, Kim Dong Ho, Ron, Kwak Seon Young and other artistes, including SNSD member Sooyoung’s elder sister, will be in the musical as well.

The posters for the musical version are faithful to the original style of the manga; the image of the female lead and the “Goong” word, which is in the middle of the poster, are both from the original manga.

The original manga of “Goong” and its television drama were a great success, but whether or not the musical version of “Goong”, which starts on the 8th of September, will be able to achieve similar success has become the subject of attention.
