[NEWS] 100705 Xiah JunSu sent to the emergency ward in the middle of the night in LA

Dong Bang Shin Ki Xiah JunSu is known to have been sent to the emergency ward in the middle of the night during his stay in LA, America.

Xiah has shown symptoms of serious cold like high fever and dehydration at 10pm on 3rd July (local time) and was sent to the emergency ward at a Korean hospital.

An official revealed, “Probably due to accumulated fatigue from recording, Xiah had shown symptoms like exhaustion and over 40 degrees fever, and so we had him sent to the emergency ward for treatment.”

Currently, Xiah JunSu, Micky YooChun and Hero JaeJoong are in the States working with famour producers on their album recording.

[NEWS] 100705 Xiah Junsu Hospitalized in Los Angeles

TVXQ group member Xiah Junsu was hospitalized in Los Angeles at around 10 PM on the 3rd.

Xiah Junsu had been suffering from a very high fever and fatigue since the afternoon. Staff members and company associates rushed him to the ER as his symptoms began to worsen. An associate of Xiah Junsu stated, “Xiah Junsu was hospitalized to a hospital in Koreatown in Los Angeles at around 10PM on the 3rd local time, or 2PM on the 4th of Korean time. Because it was the weekend, we tried over 20 hospitals before finally finding a hospital where he could receive proper treatment.”

Xiah Junsu has been busy with recording schedules, and as a result he continued getting a high fever and fatigue. At first, they didn’t think much of the situation because his symptoms were that of a common cold, but as the night went on, his symptoms worsened and he was then taken to the ER. When he reached the hospital, his fever reached over 40C. After receiving emergency care and some shots he has stabilized. This associate says, ” Xiah Junsu, plus the other 2 members are in America to record their album, and they have been pouring out their passion into the recordings. Thinking of meeting their fans after such a long time with their music, they became overenthusiastic and sang repeatedly without rest, and now their body has shown these signs of fatigue.”

The three members, including Xiah Junsu were hit hard with the shocking news of Park Yong Ha’s death. This associate said, “Hero Jaejoong was very close friends with Park Yong Ha, so the news gave him great mental shock and he was unable to even speak for awhile. All three members have been becoming more and more fatigued and even when staff members around them advised them to rest, they were concentrated in recording and in result their health has deteriorated to the point of finding the ER.”

The management side says that for Xiah Junsu’s treatment, they will take a 2 days rest.

Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun and Hero Jaejoong are currently in America recording with Kanye West, who has a great influence in pop music. Kanye West, who was born in 1977, has won 13 Grammy Awards and is a famous Rapper/Producer in America. He has produced music for the albums of Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, and Janet Jackson. The three members of TVXQ are the first to work with a major pop artist and producer like Kanye West. Because of this, many people are looking forward to what kind of product is released from this collaboration.

[TRANS] JaeChunSu: The Truths & the Lies

Most of this is old news so I've only translated a summary of the article.

1. What is the point of this article?
Ever since the three members filed the lawsuit, the internet has been flooded with unconfirmed reports and false claims, and such rumors have spread to fans in foreign countries including China and Japan etc. The point of this article is to clear up some of the rumors about the three members so that they will not be wrongly accused.

2. Did the three members demand 10 billion won each from SM?
The trio's lawyer Lim Sang Hyuk stated that '”We have asked that SM Entertainment pay each member one billion Won first. The amount we file for compensation will increase but ten billion Won, which is the amount reported in some news articles, is a false report. We have not yet decided upon a final compensation amount.”

Whilst the trio have not filed lawsuit seeking a compensation of this amount, reports of them demanding 10 billion won from SM have spread quickly throughout the Korean media and such erroneous reports have yet to be corrected. This is a typical SM strategy: 'adding a zero after the initial figure' to mislead the audience, the same tactic was employed in the case with Crebeau, where members of the public were misguided and manipulated.

According to SM's contracts, if an artist were to violate the contract, then they would have to pay a sum of 400 billion won.

3. Did the letters 'CJ' appear in 'Heaven's Postman'?
Funds for the production for 'Heaven's Postman' came from the Korean Film Council, the financial industry as well as the distributing company itself.

There are 2 possible explanations for 'CJ' appearing in the movie:
1. During the filming of 'Heaven's Postman', Youngwoong Jaejoong was still under SM Entertainment. The production company accepted funds from CGV (a company under CJ which is also responsible for the production of Changmin's TV series)
2. 'Heaven's Postman' is distributed by CJ

4. Is the trio's new manager involved in triad activities?
Kim Yong Ho wrote two articles in total; the first claims the trio's manager to be a triad member whilst the second clarifies that he is not. Unfortunately, whilst the first article has spread to countries outside of Korea and Japan, the second has not gained much public attention.

Such harsh accusations not only lack reliability, they can also be considered slander against the three members.

5. Is there a big-name company funding the production of JaeChunSu's worldwide album?
The production and distribution of the trio's album will be managed by a company in the US, but the album itself is targeted at audiences throughout Asia.

6. What is the intent of spreading these false reports?
SM is manipulating the three members' status as artists to impair their image and make the three of them lose value.

By stirring up conflict and prolonging the lawsuit, SM hopes to minimize the company's losses.

7. What should we do as fans?
Whilst SM has persisted in misleading the public by spreading lies and rumors, the three members have yet to do anything to defame SM. When faced with large corporations such as SM, as powerless individuals, there is nothing we can do other than to accept the company's manipulation through the media.

Fans of all people, should understand that 'If there weren't an unfair contract, then there wouldn't be a lawsuit'

As fans, we must distant ourselves from these fictitious reports and rumors and calmly await the decision of the court. In the mean time, please continue to look over and protect the trio.

[TRANS] 100702 Tohoshinki – Stable #1 On Oricon Charts

Even though the group’s activities have been suspended, Tohoshinki’s potential is still amazing.

On the 30th of last month, Tohoshinki’s new albums ” Single B-Side Collection” and “Single A-Side Collection” respectively achieved #1 and #2 on the Oricon charts the day they were officially released.

The next day on July 1, “Single A-Side Collection” claimed #1 and “Single B-Side Collection” held #2 position, both gaining immense popularity.

Although the albums aren’t regular records, they still include all of Tohoshinki’s singles that were released in Japan, which increases the value as a collectible and causes a massive inclination of sales.

Tohoshinki’s total album sales for the top half of the year holds third place overall.

Recently, the 3 Tohoshinki members Xiah Junsu, Hero Jejung, and Micky Yuchun, that are involved in a lawsuit over their contract with SM Entertainment, are recording in America with Asia as their main target.
